Creating alert, informed and active citizens

Our flagship programme - The ACTiZENS’ Club - is Our flagship programme - The ACTiZENS’ Club - is offered to school students from Classes 6–12, at no cost to the schools. This week, we are sharing highlights of the activities that are offered to Class 9 students from our partner schools in Madhya Pradesh, in the words of Durgesh Kumar Bhaiya who works as the School Engagement Officer at Desh Apnayen Sahayog Foundation.

The ACTiZENS’ Club programme aligns closely with The ACTiZENS’ Club programme aligns closely with national frameworks such as the National Education Policy (2020), National Curriculum Framework, the Right to Education Act (2009), and SVEEP (Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation, the flagship programme of the Election Commission of India). This ensures that every activity offered by us is not only meaningful, but also rooted in India’s educational and democratic vision.

By bridging policy with practice, the programme supports schools in nurturing Alert, Informed, and Active Citizens - ACTiZENS.
